Luckily for me, in some ways (I guess) being skeptical has saved me a lot of time, energy, and probably grief. Add to that the current state of advertising in the world as well as internet advertising and Spam, I get the tiniest bit peeved at someone trying to sell me the same tired scam over and over (I'm laughing - but it's true). With that said, I hit http://www.missingmoney.com this morning after it came up on one of my Google alerts and would you believe - it's for real! AND I even found some unclaimed money of my own. I printed out the claim form and I'll be sending it off to the state of Florida later this morning. Who knew? Now - it's not like I'm going to be retiring now, but hey! What the heck? (lol - laugh out loud) It's the only website endorsed by the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators and is run in cooperation with the States. Best part of it? It's absolutely and totally FREE! Yes; that's right! You don't have to drop fifty bucks just to find out. Better yet; it's fast and easy. Easy search page, sent me to the right page of Florida's government website to begin the claim, and start to finish I'd say it took me about 3 minutes. If I could make that kind of money ALL the time for all the ways I invest my time, I'd be definitely sittin' pretty! So - go check it out and see if you have an unexpected windfall waiting for you. One of the things I noticed in the results page is that there's a lot of unclaimed Life Insurance out there, so no matter how cynical you are about "unclaimed money" you may have some realy money coming to you. Enjoy your weekend, and happy hunting, Tracy

Interesting concept, but I'd rather spend my time and effort on money making methods I have control over, and aren't left to chance. Anyway, good luck to you on it, let us know how it works-if it looks promising, I might give it a shot.

And I definitely - like you - wouldn't count on it for ongoing income, but you might be surprised to find that you do have money being held by the State for you.
For the price of a stamp you can simply claim what belongs to you. Thanks for stopping in, Tracy Write comment
